Dear Parents/Guardians,
By now you have received the most important word about how this school year has begun-the informal reports given to you by your son or daughter. The faculty and staff at Central Dauphin East High School hope those reports are positive. We hope you feel the 2011-2012 school year has begun well for your son or daughter.
The faculty and staff members at Central Dauphin East High School believe the school year has begun smoothly. We believe that we have started what will become a great school year. We are truly excited about the opportunity to work with your children.
The 9th graders seem to have made a smooth transition to their new school. While early on some of them may have gotten lost in the hallways, they are now becoming experts at navigating the long corridors of Central Dauphin East High School. The 10th graders enjoy not being 9th graders and the 11th graders are beginning to establish themselves as leaders at East High. Our Seniors have enthusiastically taken on the challenge of leaving a legacy of success at East High.
Our fall sports are underway, so please come out and support East High as we compete in Football, Field Hockey, Cross Country, Volleyball, Golf, and Tennis. When you attend the football games, you will have the opportunity to hear musical selections played by the Central Dauphin East High School Marching Band.
In closing, I would like to invite all parents and guardians to our Back to School Night program on Wednesday, September 28th. The program will begin in the auditorium at 6:30pm. The Back to School Night program will allow you to meet your children’s teachers. Please plan to attend.
