• Your task will be to choose a position and formulate a persuasive argument. Then you will complete research using required sources. You will evaluate and use the information to synthesize a persuasive paper.

Today you have just been chosen to be on the Board of Legislators and your ability to persuade the Board members will affect the lives of others.  You will choose one of the topics listed and write a mini research paper defending your position and persuading others to adopt your position. Keep in mind that persuasion is more effective when backed up by credible sources. You will be required to use multiple sources of information and include MLA citations.
