This course is designed to be a continuation of Engineering and Design II with an increased emphasis on selecting, designing, and constructing more advanced pieces of furniture.Students will continue to refine their manufacturing skills by choosing an independent study project that they will complete throughout the year The major percentage of class time will be spent on project construction, however special instruction and demonstrations will be given to machine setups, special cuts, routing techniques, and mass production/duplication activities. Students must purchase all materials needed to complete their projects.
