From the Principal

I am beyond excited to be back at Central Dauphin Middle School, where I started my career 19 years ago!

I have spent my entire career as an educator in the Central Dauphin School District. I was hired in 2004 as a Business Education Teacher and Junior High Head wrestling coach at CD Middle. I spent five years here before moving on to Central Dauphin High School. While at CDHS, I continued coaching wrestling at the high school level, was the business department chair, and ran the school store with a colleague. During my time as a teacher, I earned my Master’s degree in Sports Management from Millersville University and my Principal Certification from the University of Scranton.

In October of 2019, I accepted a position as an Assistant Principal at Linglestown Middle School with my mentor, Mr. Ron Porter. My time working at LMS with Mr. Porter has undoubtedly prepared me for this position. While at LMS, I focused on creating a positive school culture and a sense of belonging for our staff and students. My mission and vision for CDMS is similar to that of what we are working to create at LMS.

Mission: To inspire all students to reach their full potential academically, socially, and in extracurricular activities.

Vision: To create a culture of positivity and pride in CDMS by developing positive relationships with staff, peers, and the community. Teach expectations and character development through RAMS (Respectful, Accountable, Making Good Decisions, and Safe) Pride and provide authentic learning experiences that will prepare students for college and careers.

I look forward to working with the CDMS staff, students, parents and the community!
