I grew up in Linglestown and graduated from Central Dauphin High School. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies and Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh.
After graduation, I worked as a Program Director for the Boys and Girls Club in Dumfries, VA. Then I moved to Philadelphia to earn my Master of Science in Elementary Education degree from the University of Pennsylvania. I began my career in education by teaching 3rd grade at Paxtonia Elementary for 10 years.
I obtained my principal certification and Doctor of Education degree through Widener University. For the last three years, I was the assistant principal at Central Dauphin Middle School.I am excited to begin the year as principal here at Chambers Hill Elementary School!
