General Information

  • Chorus at Paxtonia Elementary is an activity to promote teamwork, create musical harmony, and demonstrate responsibility.  If your child is in band or orchestra, they CAN be a part of chorus due to the flexibility of the schedule.  The ensemble is open to any 4th and 5th grade student and we meet once a week for 30 minutes:

The Paxtonia Chorus meets within their grade level for rehearsals, but makes beautiful music together during their concerts!

The chorus also perform for their peers twice a year in school-wide assemblies as a "preview" for their evening concerts.  Should your child decide to join chorus, your student is responsible for attending all rehearsals and performing in the evening concerts which are all held at Central Dauphin Middle School at 7:00 PM:

Winter Concert on December 12, 2019

Spring Concert on May 13th, 2020

Feel free to check out a copy of the Paxtonia Chorus contract below for detailed information about the expectations of being a member of the ensemble.
