• Title I is a 100% federally funded supplemental education program that provides financial assistance to ensure all students receive equal access to a quality education. Title I programs are designed to help children meet the state content and performance standards in reading, language arts, and mathematics.

Chambers Hill Elementary is a Schoolwide Title I building. All students will benefit from Title I funding by receiving scientifically-based instruction in their classrooms. Funding is also used for professional development and instructional materials. Assessment data is collected on all students, and our Core Team (comprised of classroom teachers, administrators and educational specialists) routinely review this data to determine which students need additional instruction. Additional instruction/interventions can be provided by the classroom teacher or a specialist and can take place in or out of the classroom.
