My name is Robin Edwards, and I live in Etters, which is approximately 20 minutes south of Tri-C.  I am originally from the Pittsburgh area and grew up in the town of Mars, PA.  My family and I are huge Steeler/Penguin/Pirate fans.  I am married and have three children – a 31 year old daughter who is married and is a Research Project Manager at Penn State College of Medicine, a 23 year old son who lives and works in Pittsburgh as an environmental engineer, and a 21 year old daughter who is a senior at the University of Massachusetts as a pre-vet student.  I attended Clarion University for my B.S. in Elementary Education and Messiah University for my M.A. in Counseling. I am starting my 34th year in elementary education.  I was a classroom teacher for 27 years before becoming a school counselor.  I started at Tri-Community in January 2018 as a school counselor.  Teaching children has been a truly gratifying career.  The intrinsic benefits have been plentiful.  I love being the school counselor at Tri-Community.

     When not working with students I love spending time with my family, especially my 1-year-old granddaughter.  I enjoy going to museums and visiting new places with my family.  I also like to cook, bake and entertain friends.  I enjoy reading and doing “crafty” activities and I am truly a Pinterest junky.
