ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR FINANCE & ADMINSTRATIVE OPERATIONS
OBJECTIVE PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
I. Student Achievement and Academic Success
OPS: The assistant superintendent will work with the executive staff, building administrators, supervisors, and teachers to provide logistical support and resources for the ongoing RRR (Rigor Relevance Relationships).
a. By leading the ongoing implementation of RRR
b. By providing ongoing RRR professional development activities and support
c. By communicating about RRR to the Board, staff, and families
d. By developing a robust structure for monitoring the delivery of RRR activities into every classroom
e. By leading conversations with principals and staff regarding student academic growth
f. By supporting action plans with building leadership teams for upcoming school years as a result of the ongoing review of student data
II. Budget and Fiscal Responsibility
OPS: The assistant superintendent will work with the executive staff to develop, monitor, and administer a balanced budget while directing maximum possible resources toward ongoing enhancements to the academic programs of the district.
a. By presenting budget recommendations for the school year that support the ongoing implementation of teaching and learning activities through the RRR Transformation.
b. By evaluating current programs in order to continuously update content in the classrooms.
III. Technology and Blended Learning
OPS: To support the transformation of teaching and learning to a more personalized learning model.
a. By recruiting teacher leaders to participate in a Digital Cohort to transform their teaching practice into one that supports a more personalized learning experience for their students.
b. By developing a Blended Learning Pilot Project in order to enhance instruction and learning through a more personalized learning experience for students.
c. By providing professional development activities for selected teachers with an emphasis on blended learning activities.
