School Counselor, students last names H-MA
I am currently in my 11th year as a school counselor at East High. My favorite part of my job is meeting with students and watching their journey from freshman year to graduation. East High's students are diverse and resilient. I enjoy helping students with any academic, career/college, personal, or social need they may have.
I graduated from Lebanon Valley College with a degree in psychology. I was a member of the football team at LVC and learned the important skills of balancing athletics with academics. These are now skills I try to emphasize with our students as they balance different parts of their lives with their classes at East High. I hope that all students at East High can meet their full potential.
I enjoy spending time with my family and watching my two sons play sports and grow. I love spending time outdoors hiking, camping, biking, and fly fishing. And of course going to the beach and traveling.

I am originally from New York; I moved to Harrisburg in 2010. I am a proud graduate of Temple University where I earned my B.S. in Psychology. I received my MS Ed. from Hunter College in New York City. I completed my principal certification from Point Park University.
I have worked as a school counselor for over 18 years and love watching and assisting students navigate this journey we call life. I am excited to work with the students and families at CD East High and hope to be a resource for my students throughout their time at East and beyond.

School Counselor, last names D-G
I am happy to introduce myself as one of the school counselors at East High School! I grew up in the Philly suburbs, but I spent the last 20 years living in Annapolis, Maryland. I am a proud graduate of Shippensburg University where I earned a B.S. in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. After graduation, I worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer while attending graduate school at Loyola University in Baltimore, MD. Since earning my M.Ed. in School Counseling, I worked as a High School Counselor for 18 years in Prince George's County Public Schools. Relocating to Central PA and being a counselor at East High School has been a wonderful new journey that I have immensely enjoyed! I am thrilled to be working with students, parents, teachers, administrators, and parents whom I so highly regard.
Beyond the school counseling role, I played college lacrosse and coached both middle school and high school girls’ lacrosse. I am married with a teenage son. I enjoy camping, boating, and anything related to the beach. I love going on adventures as well as running marathons.
I really enjoy my role in encouraging all children to strive for their personal best!

Hi Everyone,
I am originally from New Jersey, but grew up in Charlotte, NC. I moved to the Harrisburg area in the middle of high school and am a graduate of Hershey High School. I have a BA in psychology and political science from Western Maryland College, now McDaniel College, and continued my education immediately following my undergraduate studies to complete a MS in counselor education from McDaniel College. I have been a school counselor for 19 years, and have been at EHS for 17 years. My Mom worked at EHS before me so I have continued the family tradition. I love CD East High as it is the most unique, and special school, and an amazing place to work!
Personally, I am a huge sports fan (Keep Pounding, Roll Tide, Buzz City, Go Heels), love to read, travel, and spend time with my family and friends.
