National School Lunch Program (NSLP) Schools


    For the 2023-24 school year, schools not enrolled in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) will operate under the National School Lunch Program where the district processes student meal applications and students may qualify for free and or reduced-price school meals or students must pay for their school meals.  Household meal applications will be distributed to all students on the first day of school.

    The following schools are designated as National School Lunch Program (NSLP) Buildings for the 2023-24 school year:

    1. Central Dauphin High School
    2. Central Dauphin Middle School
    3. Middle Paxton Elementary School
    4. West Hanover Elementary School

    2023-24 School Meal Pricing at these schools will be:

    BREAKFAST:  $0.00, NO cost to all students.  As part of the Governor’s initiative, all enrolled students will receive free breakfast for the entire 2023-24 school year.

    LUNCH: $2.55 Paid Elementary Schools, $2.80 Paid Middle & High School.

    $0.00 Reduced Lunch Price.  Reduced price eligible students will receive lunch at NO cost for the entire 2023-24 school year.

    Reminder:  Per PDE requirements and district procedure, any student is permitted to charge and receive a complete reimbursable breakfast and lunch daily regardless of whether the student has money in their account.  Students are NOT permitted to charge ala carte items.
