Elementary and Secondary Textbooks

  • Textbooks are loaned to pupils at the opening of the school term or whenever the pupil enrolls.  At the end of the term or upon the pupil's withdrawal from school, the pupil returns the books.

Students will be charged the replacement cost for lost books.  A similar charge will be made for damage caused by carelessness or misuse.  Since a textbook is not a gift, but rather a loan, the pupil must assume custodial responsibility for the book, and keep it in usable condition during the time it is in his/her possession.
