• As a parent/guardian there are many things that you can do that will help keep our school environment healthy.

    1. Please do NOT send your child to school sick and tell him/her to "try it." Students should be kept home for a fever of 100 degrees or higher and/or if vomiting is present.  They should not return to school until their temperature is normal for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medicines such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen.

    2. Treat minor symptoms at home before sending your child to school.

    3. Please notify your School Nurse if your child develops any communicable diseases or conditions (such as chicken pox, pink eye, impetigo, head lice, etc).

    4. Please keep all contact phone numbers (home, work, cell, emergency) current with the Main Office.

    5. Anticipate your child's needs and have the appropriate medication in place at school.  Please note that NO medication (prescription or over-the-counter) can be given in school without a signed prescription/order by your child's physician. We also need signed parent permission.

    6. Be thorough and accurate when completing your child's annual health survey.

    7. Please encourage your child to dress appropriately for the weather and to eat a nutritious breakfast every morning.
