    Penn State University College of Medicine PULSE program:   An education program, taught by current medical students, focused on helping ambitious high school students interested in medicine and science by offering opportunities in working with groups, developing scientific reasoning, mentoring and an introduction to medicine from the perspective of a health care provider. Program is open to students in grades 9-12 who want to explore their interests in the medical field.     CASA - The Capital Area School for the ARTS: Located in the heart of downtown Harrisburg's arts district, this school uses the city of Harrisburg as a "classroom" to inspire students to create great art.  The school is administered by the Capital Area Intermediate Unit and managed by Open Stage of Harrisburg.  Students can study one of the following programs: visual art, dance, media arts, music or theatre.  Applications are available in the guidance office and are usually due in February or March.   For more information you may call CASA at
