    Welcome to Room 8!

Welcome to a new school year!! I'm anxious to meet you and learn more about all of you. We'll have fun making friends and learning new things.

I am Mrs. Fetterhoff.  I have been teaching for 33 years. I have two children and two dogs that keep me busy.  I graduated from Juniata College and Penn State University.

As of now, we have phys. ed. on day 1.  Please wear sneakers the first day of school.
You may bring a water bottle everyday to keep at your seat.
Please bring a sock to be used as a white board eraser.
If you're able, bring a small hand-held pencil sharpener.  I have a few for the classroom to share.
You don't need any other supplies.  I'll supply folders, markers, pencils, scissors, glue, pencil boxes, etc. that you need for the class.

Reminders:  Please make sure you know what you'll be doing for lunch the first day of school.  On the classroom board, you'll either sign up for FIRST CHOICE, SECOND CHOICE, PACKER, or SALAD.  You'll need to know 1st or 2nd choice, not the food item.

Please know how you're being dismissed at the end of the day, such as car rider, daycare van, walker, or bus rider.  If you're a bus rider, know your bus number please.

I'll see you on the first day of school!

You can view current skills being taught and learned in the classroom by viewing the agenda on Google Classroom during the current school year.

    - Look at informational papers from the school.
    - Please review papers that your child brings home.
    - Look at our booklet agenda and virtual agenda if online learning is still in use.
    - Review our homework with us to see what we're learning.
    - Look at our completed work papers.  If we have errors on the papers, please review with us.  Some notations you might see on the papers are:
            - WH - that means "with help" and we needed an adult's help to complete it
            - TOG - that means we did it together as a class
            - WOT - that means we did it on our own, but then went over the answers together
            - POQ - we were to answer with "part of the question"
            - P -  we completed it with a partner
            - NC - not in a complete sentence or your answer needs more support
            - ND - not done
           - I - was completed individually

    Thank you for your support!!
