• Mr. Williams
Hi!  My name is Mike Williams and I am one of the second grade teachers here at Mountain View Elementary School.  This is my fourteenth year teaching second grade, but my fifteenth year teaching in all.  I am very excited to be your child's 2nd Grade teacher!
I was inspired to become a teacher when I was in elementary school.  I attended Central Dauphin Schools for my education, grades 1 through 12.  I graduated from Lebanon Valley College where I received my degree in Elementary Education in December of 2003.  I earned my Master's degree in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University.
My philosophy of education is that all children can learn to the best of their ability and that learning must be a life-long process.  My goal during the course of the school year will be to assist the students in achieving academic success appropriate to them by adjusting my instruction to fit the individual needs and learning styles of all my students.   Through motivating and real-life activities, I hope to instill a desire in the students to learn inside and outside of the classroom.
Communication between school and home is key in helping students to succeed.  I can be reached by phone at Mountain View (657-8585) during school hours or you may send a note to school with your child.   My school email is mjwilliams@cdschools.org
