    Planner:  Students should bring their planner home each night and their Take Home folder.  Their homework will be listed.
     
    Google Classroom will be utilized for classroom learning.  Weekly agendas will be uploaded to our Google Classroom page as an overview of what students will learn in class.  In the event that your child is absent, they will be able to find what they missed at school on the agenda.
     
    Electronics:  We will be utilizing technology daily in the classroom.  If possible, please have your child bring a charged laptop, Ipad, or tablet to school each day.  I will remind them to bring them home each night.
     
     
    Homework Policy: Students are expected to complete ALL homework assignments by the due date.  If homework is not completed, the student will need to do the assignment during recess.  Students will have one homework pass each month.
     
     Snacks:  Most of us will have a hard time waiting until lunch to eat so we will have a working snack time in the morning.  If you would like, you may send in a snack each day for your student.  (NO nuts or candy)
            
     
    Water Bottles: Students may bring in water bottles (filled with only water) to keep on the floor by their desk.

    Lunch:  12:45-1:15
     
    Recess:  1:20-1:50
                
     
    Birthdays: Parents are not permitted to send in birthday treats per school policy. 
     
    Book Orders: Each month, I will send home book orders.  If you chose to order, there are two options.  The first is to use the paper order forms that are in the book order and send in a check made out to scholastic.   The second is to go to scholastic.com/bookclubs and enter the code:; GWQ4F.  We can earn free books for our class with each order.
