Director of Secondary Education

Kristin Martin is a dedicated educator with 18 years of experience, all within the Central Dauphin School District. She began her career as a 3rd and 4th grade teacher at Paxtang Elementary before transitioning into leadership roles as Assistant Principal at Swatara Middle School and Principal of the CDSD Cyber Academy.

As the Director of Secondary Schools, Kristin is committed to strengthening instructional leadership among principals to drive student achievement and school success. She will work closely with secondary school leaders to enhance curriculum implementation, data-driven decision-making, and instructional best practices. By providing targeted professional development, coaching, and collaboration opportunities, she aims to empower administrators to lead with confidence and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Kristin believes that strong instructional leadership is the foundation of effective schools, and she is dedicated to supporting principals in creating environments where both students and educators thrive. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending time with her family.
