Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) Designation
2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR CAFETERIA INFORMATION
New! For the 2024-2025 school year, all school buildings have been designated as a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) site. Students will be eligible to receive a complete breakfast and lunch daily at no costs or charge to the student. Parents /guardians do not need to complete any paperwork. Students must receive a complete, reimbursable meal (breakfast or lunch) under the program. They cannot simply take 1 or 2 food items as a reimbursable meal. The cafeteria staff will prompt students to return to the serving line to pick up additional food item(s) in the event they do not have a reimbursable meal.
Reimbursable Meal Components
- Breakfast -Schools must offer at least 4 food items within 3 food components daily: Milk, Fruits, Grains. It is optional to provide a meat /meat alternate and vegetable during breakfast. Students must select at least 3 food items with a requirement that 1 food item be a fruit or vegetable (if offered).
- Lunch -Schools must offer 5 components for lunch: Meat or Meat Alternative, Grain, Fruit, Vegetable, and Milk. Students must select at least 3 food items with a requirement that 1 food item be a fruit or vegetable.
Students may purchase additional ala-carte food items. Students must have available funds in their account. Students are not permitted to charge any ala-carte food items.
