Health Insurance
Employees are eligible for the District Health Insurance plan. In limited circumstances a spouse may be eligible for coverage if your spouse is unemployed, self-employed or works for an employer who does not offer coverage.
Delta Dental and Davis Vision are offered to you and your family at no cost. Life Insurance is also available at no cost to theemployee.
WAIVER DOLLARS: If you elect to Waive medical coverage, you may be eligible for $2,000. Waiver dollars are paid twice each year, in the amount of $1000 each (pre-tax). You may still elect dental and vision coverage if you waive medical. You MUST waive medical coverage each year during open enrollment to continue to receive waiver dollars in the new plan year.
