Assistant Superintendent for Finance & Administrative Operations

Dr. Erika Willis brings over 23 years of educational leadership experience, in administration, curriculum development, and strategic planning. Currently serving as the Assistant Superintendent for Finance and Administrative Operations at Central Dauphin School District, she is committed to fostering academic excellence. Dr. Willis collaborates with district, school, and community partners to continuously enhance teaching and learning through research based instructional strategies and data-driven decision-making from preschool to 12th grade. 

As a founding member of the CDSD District P-3 Team, Dr. Willis worked closely with early learning centers and families to provide resources, training and collaborative partnerships that support a smooth transition from preschool to elementary school. She also chaired the District Equity and Inclusion Committee, where she led principals and Directors through professional development on cultural competencies and creating more inclusive school environments.

Dr. Willis was recently selected to join Transcend's fifth cohort of the Learner-Centered Leadership Lab (LCLL), which focuses on transforming educational systems from standardized approaches to offering learning that is meaningful, challenging, supportive, and adaptable to the needs of all learners in the 21st century.

Additionally, she was awarded a scholarship from the Pennsylvania Association of School Administrators (PASA), she represented the district on a national educational leaders' trip to Japan and South Korea, studying technology innovation and cultural practices in education. These experiences have afforded her the opportunity to learn more about school systems across the country and globally with other educational leaders. 

Dr. Willis holds a Doctor of Education from Immaculata University and both a Master of Education and a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University. She loves being in the classroom, witnessing those aha moments, seeing students fully engaged in learning and pushing themselves beyond their comfort zones toward continuous growth.

Outside of work she enjoys traveling with her family to explore new restaurants. She also loves action, superhero fiction and epic fantasy adventure movies.
