    Dear Parents/Loved Ones:

     

       Welcome to Second Grade unlike we have ever seen.  I will be look forward to seeing your students everyday in class. Please be sure to check your emails each night as things are fluid and changing on a regular basis.  Reading for 20-25 minutes a day will help them learn many new ideas and strategies for reading.  You can read to them, you read together, they can read to you.  All of this is helpful to learn reading skills. Work on the Edmentum reading path for 20-30 min a daily.
     
         Each student is also to be bringing home a red folder daily and returning it daily.  This folder contains any homework and/or paperwork.         
       In math we build on concepts all year long.  Keep practicing the math that you see coming home.  Work on the Edmentum path for 20-30 min.
     
    Please keep your students working on their edmentum paths for math and reading.  It's a very helpful learning tool if your child is learning from home.  
     
    We have students with allergies please do not send in any food from home.  School lunches can be picked up at East while we are doing remote learning.
