Bonjour!  Je m'appelle Madame Tricia Larson.  The 2018-2019 school year will be my 13th year at Central Dauphin High School.  I have been learning French for over 25 years, and I enjoy teaching others one of the most romantic languages in the world. I love traveling, especially to France, and I look forward to taking many of you traveling with me in the future.
I lived in Brussels, Belgium for one year, immersing myself in the French language.  It's the best way to learn it!  I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Arts in French and from University of Phoenix Online with a Masters in Secondary Education.
Beyond the classroom, I am the assistant director and supervisor for the costume and make-up crew for the fall play. In my free time I enjoy volunteering at a local animal rescue.

Please email me with any questions concerning homework, quiz questions or anything else, especially if your student was absent.  I will respond to you as quickly as possible.

All classes are using Google Classroom for links to listening activities, notes from videos, and other projects that will be turned in online. If you would like the code for Google Classroom to join as a parent, please email me.

Vocabulary flashcards are available on Quizlet to help all students study and review. Here is the link to my page on Quizlet - mmelarson220 Quizlet link

The above link will lead to you a document with all of the codes for Google Classroom and Remind.

Being active is a key component of learning a world language. Beyond the classroom, students are required to complete approximately 2.5 hours of engagement with the French Language. Attached is the document explaining the various ways students can complete this part of their grade. Tower of Activities
