Welcome to Lawnton Elementary, home of the Golden Eagles!

Dear Lawnton Families and Community Members,

My name is Stephanie Bruno.  This is my thirteenth year at Lawnton, and my 23rd in the district.  I was raised in this area, graduated from Central Dauphin High School and am dedicated to this community.  I have been working for the school district in various capacities since 1999.  The first four years, I taught at the elementary level and for the last three years of my teaching career, I taught sixth grade at the middle school level.  Before coming to Lawnton, I served as the Assistant Principal at South Side Elementary for 4 years.

My undergraduate work was completed at Bloomsburg University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education.  I obtained my Master's of Science in Educational Leadership from Wilkes University.  I completed my Superintendent's Letter of Eligibilty coursework at Shippensburg University.

My husband and I have been married for 19 years.  My daughter, Amber is an RN in the area! Anthony is 15 and starting 10th grade.  Andrew is 12 and going into 7th grade.

I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, shopping, home improvement shows, jigsaw puzzles, computer games, crafts, www.pinterest.com (where I find a ton of great ideas for school and home), drawing, going out to dinner, the beach, vacations, and spending time with friends.

Education has been and will continue to be an important part of our family life.  I look forward to educating your children and working with the parents and community as we prepare our students for a successful future.

Feel free to contact me with questions or concerns.

    Yours Truly,
