Mrs. Julie Farber

My name is Julie Farber and I am excited to be teaching your students this year. I went through Central Dauphin School District for all of my years in school. I started at Lawnton Elementary, went to Swatara Middle, and graduated from Central Dauphin East High School. I completed my Bachelors program at Millersville University and I am certified in Special Education and Early Childhood Education.

I have been teaching in the Full-Time/Supplemental Learning Support classroom at Chambers Hill Elementary for 3 years. I love teaching the students in my classroom.

  • Welcome to Mrs. Farber's Full-Time/Supplemental Learning Support Classroom! I am so excited to have your student in my class this year. I love what I do and I love watching the students grow from when they start in my room to when they move on. I am so excited to see all my students again, as well as meet my new friends. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you have about the classroom. Below I have a general idea of what we do in the classroom.

In this classroom we focus on early numeracy, early literacy,  pre-writing/early writing skills, and fine motor skills.

Some of the curriculum used are:

    Handwriting Without Tears

    Bridges (math program)

    Phonology (reading program)

My Sidewalks (early intervention program that is part of the Reading Street curriculum)

    Language for Learning (reading program)

    Early Literacy Skills Builder

For the first day of school please send your student with:

    - Spare clothes (shirt, pants/shorts, underwear, socks) if you know your child may have numerous accidents in a day please send a few sets of clothes.

    - Snack (in my classroom we have a snack time at the end of the day since bus rides for our students take longer than the typical bus ride). Please do not send anything that has peanuts or peanut butter.
