Welcome to Mr. Bricker's Art Page!
Central Dauphin High School
"Art and the approach to life through art, using it as a vehicle for education and even for doing science is so vital that it is part of a great new revolution that is taking place." -Jonas Salk
Welcome!
Hello all! My name is Mr. Bricker, and I will be your art teacher this year. This is my 21st year serving as an art teacher. I have previously taught art in Manheim Township School District, and taught art and coached tennis in Lebanon School District. Additionally, I currently am the Department Chair for the secondary schools of our district, as well the varsity boys tennis coach here at Central Dauphin.
On this page, you will find information pertaining to the various classes I will be teaching this year. Details about current projects, galleries to visit, and student and famous artworks are right at your fingertips. Feel free to email me at mbricker@cdschools.org with any questions.

Art is human expression in visual form. It has been, is, and always will be the means by which a culture records, expresses, and interprets the world around it. Art is a visual form of communication that addresses the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of our students. As it promotes self-awareness, self-expression, and well-being, art presents opportunities to develop high levels of thought. It offers unique, creative experiences that help to build self-esteem. Art fosters the recognition and appreciation of all individuals and all cultures.
