Mrs. Todd- Intervention Specialist
I am an Intervention Specialist. What that means is I work with the Reading Specialists to help give extra support to the students who need more help with reading. I am working with first grade through fifth grade students this year.
This is my 19th year in the public school systems. Earlier in my career, I lived and taught in North Carolina, Alabama, and Florida. After my husband retired from the Army, we decided to settle in the Harrisburg area. I'm orignially from Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, so it's nice to be closer to my family and friends again. During my years in education, I have been a 4th and 5th Grade Teacher, Special Education Aide, Reading Teacher, and Reading Interventionist. Currently, I am working towards earning my Masters in Literacy Education from Penn State Harrisburg and will graduate in May 2021!
I love spending time with my family. When I married my husband, I gained a bonus son. He is 17 and is a junior in highschool. Together, my husband and I have a 5 yr old son who began kindergarten this year.
I love working at Tri-C and am looking forward to getting to know more students this year!
