Miss Brunie's Web Page

  • My name is Emily Brunie. I am a graduate of Lock Haven University where I majored in Early Childhood and Special Education. Also, I was a member of the Lock Haven Women's lacrosse team. I graduated in May of 2017. I have worked at Tri-Community as the 4th and 5th grade learning support teacher for the past two year. Also, I worked as a long term substitute for the Carlisle School District as a 4th grade teacher from 2017-2018.  This will be my 4th year teaching. I am thrilled to continue my teaching career as a learning support teacher at Tri-Community Elementary for another school year.

I believe that every child can learn given the appropriate environment. Not all students learn in the same manner. In our classroom, students will be given ample opportunity to explore, ask questions, think, and to grow academically and behaviorally. Together we can help your child to become a stronger reader, mathematician, continue learning to work with others, and to be responsible. We will be using large and small groups, independent learning, and monitoring student goals during the next year.

Together we will form a partnership in preparing your child for the future. The lines of communication are always open. You can reach me by email at ebrunie@cdschools.org.
