    Hello Everyone!

On the days that we do not get to hang out, I want you to keep on reading.  I read at least an hour everyday, which makes me perfect for being the librarian.  One of the reasons I love to read, is to go on adventures.  You might even want to give writing your own story a try, I am sure it will be brilliant.

    Welcome to the library!

The key word for library is RESPECT.  In our community, we need to treat everyone and everything with RESPECT.  That means we encourage our friends, listen to everyone, participate, use materials correctly, and be careful with our library books.  Respect should be given and returned between two people.

Open library is an online resource you can use to check out books online.

Another character trait in library is being responsible.

.  That means taking care of your books and returning them to the library.  When you get finished reading your library book at home, please put it back in your backpack.  Then it will be with you on your library day.  You never know when you could get Bulldog Tickets for being responsible and prepared with your library books.

Please remember the things you can do to protect your library books.  Keep them out of the reach of younger siblings and pets.  Do not eat or drink near your library book.  Be careful when turning the pages.  If it is raining, have your library book safely hidden away.  If anything does happen to your library book, please send it in and we will see if we can fix it.  Thank you so much!

If you lose your library book or do not return it, the cost will stay on your account until it is paid in full.
