• Welcome to Swatara Middle School's
    Citizen's of the Month
    Each homeroom teacher selects one student to be recognized as a Citizen of the Month.  This student is selected based on their behavior and not their academic performance.  In addition to the Citizen of the Month, the team selects one girl and one boy to be named as Student of the Month.  This student is selected based on their all around good nature.  At the end of each quarter, the Student of the Month is replaced with the Student of the Quarter.  Each core subject teacher selects the student with the highest grade point average for the marking period. 
    Each of these students will receive a certificate during an awards assembly that is usually held during the afternoon of the last day of the month.
