    Who we are:

The PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) is a volunteer organization that supports the student and staff of E.H. Phillips Elementary in a variety of ways including funding activities, community outreach, fundraising, and having fun.

    What we do:

Although fundraising is a big part of what we do, we also need to spend the money we raise!  Breakfast buddies, family fun nights, movie nights, teacher appreciation, purchasing playground toys/equipment, field trips, buying books for the library, the “Brain Show” assemblies, and classroom/playground enhancement requests are only a few of the ways we help our school.

    When we meet:

We meet at 7:00 pm in the school library or Zoom on the second Tuesday of every month.

    Why we need you:

Volunteers are the heart of our organization!  Please consider contributing your skills and talents, whatever they might be, to support our amazing school.  By completing and returning the membership form found here, you are giving us permission to keep you up-to-date with volunteer opportunities, upcoming events, and other fun tidbits during the school year.  You also may include a tax-deductible contribution that help keep our programs going.  We encourage you to attend our meetings (second Tuesday of every month) to gain a true understanding of all that we do for our school.  Membership does not require you to attend every meeting and you do not need to be a member to go to the meetings. We welcome anyone attached to a student at our school (including parents, grandparents, and guardians).

    What you need:

Everyone hoping to volunteer with our organization must obtain a Central Dauphin School District volunteer badge.  Most of the process to gain the required clearances takes place on-line.  Please access the Central Dauphin School District Visitor and Volunteer information and instructions here.
