    Illness

To insure the optimum health and safety for all children, please do not send your child to school if he or she is ill.    If your child has an oral temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or greater, he or she may not return to school until the temperature has been normal (98.6) for 24 hours,  without the use of fever reducing medication such as Acetaminophen (Tylenol), Ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil), Aspirin, and other "combination" medications that contain these ingredients.

    Required School Exams

Required 3rd grade dental exams, kindergarten dental exams and kindergarten physical exams are due for this school year. If you plan on having your child’s state mandated exams done privately and need a new form, please call so we can provide you with one, or you can click on the Pennsylvania Private Exam form link and print the required forms.

If you have a child in 2nd grade and/or 5th grade,  you will receive forms during the 3rd marking period.  These are for your child’s next school year requirements. Exams may be performed up to 12 months prior to the beginning of the school year that exam is required. Please send in completed forms upon completion of exam.

    Medication Policy

No student specific medication is administered by School Personnel unless specific written instructions are received from a physician.  This applies to prescription and non-prescription drugs.   This applies to topical medications as well.

Stock over-the -counter medication--Tylenol, Ibuprofen and Tums--will only be administered with properly signed OTC parent permission  form.

Please feel free to call or email with any questions or concerns.
