Please take a moment to review a few of the ways that you can help assist us in maintaining a healthy environment for students and staff:
REQUIRED SCHOOL EXAMSRequired 3rd grade dental exams, kindergarten dental exams and kindergarten physical exams are due for this school year. If you plan on having your child’s state mandated exams done privately, and need a new form, please call so we can provide you with one.If you have a child in 2nd grade and/or 5th grade, you will receive an extra paper during the 3rd marking period. The 2nd grade report cards will contain dental forms and the 5th grade will contain private physical forms. These are for your child’s next school year requirements. Exams may be performed up to 12 months prior to the beginning of the school year that exam is required. Please fax or send in completed forms upon completion of exam.MEDICATION POLICYNo medication is administered by School Personnel unless specific written instructions are received from a physician. This applies to prescription and non-prescription drugs. This applies to topical medications as well.
Always keep your child at home if a temperature and/or vomiting is present. Temperatures should be normal (less than 100.0 degrees Fahrenheit without fever-reducing medicine) for 24 hours before he or she returns to school.
Please notify the school nurse if your child develops a communicable disease or condition (chicken pox, head lice, impetigo, pink eye or ring worm.)
Please make sure that children are dressed appropriately for the season and/or weather.
