• Dear Lawnton School Students and Families,

I hope you and your family are doing well during these uncertain times.  I have been thinking of you and hope that you and your family are staying healthy, positive, and keeping busy!

I would love to hear from you - how are you spending your extra time?  Are you reading any books?  Playing your instrument or putting your creative art skills to work?  Maybe you are trying a special recipe or putting puzzles together.  Feel free to email me and share how you are spending your time. I’d love to stay connected with you.

During these uncertain times, it’s important to practice mindfulness to take care of yourself.  Be sure to continue to get lots of sleep, go outside to get fresh air, and continue to eat healthy.  Create a ‘to do’ list for each day and follow a daily routine.  Get up, get dressed and get going!

Please check out the links I provided on the “resources” side of my webpage.

Students, find your grade on the right side of the screen to look at some ideas, videos, and websites I gathered for you. I will change these weekly and keep them updated. So keep checking in :) I am also going to post a daily Social Emotional Learning video and activity under the grade level tabs. These are for all students!

Lastly, if there is anything you need, please reach out.  I will respond as quickly as I can. My daily office hours are from M-F 2pm-3pm.

    Meet the Counselor:
My name is Erica Hamilton and I am your child's school counselor. Before becoming a school counselor, I was a teacher for Central Dauphin School District for six years. I completed my master's program at Shippensburg University and Millersville University.
I am very excited to be working with the students at Lawnton Elementary School, where I will be every cycle days 2 & 3. As your child's school counselor, I plan on working closely with him/her to ensure they are successful both socially, emotionally, and academically. I am extremely student-centered and student achievement is my top priority. Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any questions or concerns you may have.
