5th Grade Takes Charge in State Coding Competition!

The Cyber Robotics Coding Competition (CRCC) is a virtual robotics coding opportunity meant to empower students in grades 5-8 to explore both java and block coding. The competition started with several weeks of "Boot Camp" during which students engaged in activities to learn how to code. This week begins the qualifying round during which students apply the skills they've learned. Teams in grade levels will compete from any Chrome computer browser to complete missions and challenges. After qualifiers, winning schools will be invited to Harrisburg University for in-person grand finale competition. Winners will be the schools who can best strategize, plan and complete the challenges. At the conclusion of boot camp, Paxtonia Elementary was ranked 12th in the state!!  We are so proud of our coders and can't wait to see what they accomplish in the qualifying round!!
